If you suffer from Rosacea, we recommend drinking plenty of water, at least 64 oz a day. Use a re-usable water bottle to track your daily intake. For skin care, we strongly recommend discontinuing any facial cleansers or soaps and using Everyday Oil to cleanse as well as moisturize. By stopping the process of stripping your natural oils and using Everyday Oil, your skin will be far more nourished, hydrated and protected. The anti-microbial elements in Everyday Oil can very sufficiently cleanse the skin without stripping away its own defenses.
If you drink alcohol, be sure to drink an equal amount of water with each drink - one for one! Same goes for coffee.
Instead of staying out of the sun, use a hat and protect your face. If you are out in the harsher elements for long (wind/snow/sun), remember to hydrate externally with Everyday Oil and internally with water or herbal tea.
Incorporating yoga, meditation or calming breathing exercises into your routine is important for every one - rosacea or no.
