Nourishing Hair Treatment

August 29, 2024

Everyday Oil replenishes from head to toe, you can simply apply a bit to the ends of your hair on the go, but here’s a simple step by step for a deeper treatment when your hair is in need of a bit more TLC :)

꩜ Apply the oil to damp hair, as it’s a bit more absorbent.

꩜ Divide your hair into sections to make application easier, especially for thicker or longer hair.

꩜ Begin applying Everyday Oil to the ends of your hair, since they are usually the most damaged and dry.

꩜ Start with a small amount and add more if necessary. Finer hair tends to need a little less oil.

꩜ If you have a dry scalp, apply some oil to the roots of your hair and gently massage it in using circular motions.

꩜ Use a brush to evenly distribute the oil throughout your hair. Our vented brush is perfect for this, you can also use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers.

꩜ Leave the oil in your hair for at least 30 minutes. For deeper conditioning, you can leave it on for a few hours or even overnight.

꩜ Try wrapping your hair up with a delightful clip (these ones at S&S Corner Shop are so nice, smooth and strong) or in a warm towel or cover it with a cap while the oil sits.

꩜ Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water, then apply a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo to remove the oil (Why sulfate-free? Dig in over here!). Depending on how much oil you used, you may need to shampoo twice to ensure all the oil is washed out. If your hair is super thirsty, follow up with a light conditioner, focusing on the ends.

That's it! Let your hair air dry or style as usual and enjoy your nourished and deeply conditioned hair.

You can use this treatment monthly or seasonally as needed, depending on your hair type and condition :)
