Jojoba oil is known for its ability to nourish dry skin. It has a very high concentration of natural ceramides, which actively hydrates skin, strengthening its moisture barrier and helping with trans-epidermal water loss. With help from linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid Omega-6, it strengthens and seals skin's barrier to keep moisture in and irritants out. All this has its benefits: preventing the appearance of acne, UV-induced hyper-pigmentation, and eczema flares.

As one of the oldest cultivated crops in our history, castor oil has been used by nearly every ancient civilization — from health elixirs for the Greeks and Romans to the beauty secrets of Indian Ayurvedic medicine to wound dressings for the Egyptians. Praised for its healing abilities as "Palma Christi" or "Hand of Christ”, this plant oil can help cleanse the skin of dead skin cells, detoxify oils that clog glands, and pull out impurities from the pores. A natural humectant, castor oil reinforces skin’s natural barrier by drawing moisture to it while soothing rough and dry spots. Of its unsaturated fatty acids composition, 90% is ricinoleic acid, which is responsible for castor oil’s unique healing abilities. Its detoxifying properties are attributed to a rare compound called undecylenic acid.

Coconut oil use dates back to at least 1500 BC, when it was incorporated in Ayurvedic medicine as a remedy for mind, body, and spirit. Equally cleansing and moisturizing, this plant oil is easily absorbed by the skin to reinforce it’s natural moisture barrier and elasticity. Fatty acids capric and caprylic triglycerides provide skin with hydration. Rich in antioxidants, coconut oil can also help improve the look of fine lines and age spots. Our coconut oil has had the long-chain fatty acids filtered out in a process called fractionation, so it can stay liquid and absorb more quickly and lightly into the skin. This is sometimes referred to as “MCT” Coconut Oil.
